It is said that no two people write the same, but should we really believe that?
OF COURSE!!!!! No one can write the EXACT same way someone else does. Someones handwriting is their 'mark' on everything they sign, wills, deeds, and checks. Handwriting gives authenticity, credibility, and authority over what they are signing. Typed signatures mean nothing, they are not proof like hand written signatures are. In school we were taught to trace cursive in a book, but after we learned that we put our own twist on it. We give it our own style, therefore making it our own, making it our unique way of being different.
There are two different types of handwriting: request writing and nonrequest writing. Request writing doesn't hold in court because it gives the person a chance to change the way they write, where as nonrequest writing does hold in court because the person doesn't have a chance to change it.
In certain criminal cases, handwriting is very important. It gives the criminal NO way out. They cant escape the crime they have committed, because their handwriting may match the evidence found.
