Latent Fingerprints

There are 3 types of fingerprints: Latent, Plastic, & Direct prints. Latent prints are prints that cannot be seen with the naked eye. This type of print can only be found by dusting, fuming, or chemical reagents. Latent prints are usually either smudged, distorted, or overlapping. Latent prints most likely are useless.
