History of Fingerprinting

Fingerprinting has been around for a very long time. It is said that no one really knows how far back fingerprinting goes but we for sure know it was around in 2000 BC, when the egyptians were building pyramids.

Fingerprinting has helped the usa in the past 100 years by providing accurate identification of criminals. There has never been the same 2 fingerprints of any human beings in the whole world, in the whole time fingerprinting has been used. Fingerprints at crime scenes prevent more evidence, more suspects, and ect. Lots of human characteristics can change but out of all of those fingerprints never change, they stay the same forever. What you have is what you get. They help people all over the world, and will continue helping for as long as this world lasts.

  1. YOur history is good but I think that you should add more examples from like the 1700's or the 1800's this way you are giving the reader a better idea of how the use of fingerprinting has changed over history.

Also I have noticed that you are missing the different types of fingerprints, the sheet that Mr.Kelly gave us, techniques and chemicals used to develop prints, and the procedures to lift prints from dark and light surfaces.

One more thing I think you should go back and add in some of the assignments that we have been doing in class.
